Dr. Sajid ur Rehman

Dr. Sajid ur Rehman is a visiting international researcher with the MATTER research group and a Research Associate at the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. He holds a PhD in Chemistry and Physics of Polymers from Anhui University and has an interdisciplinary background spanning physics, materials chemistry, semiconductor science, and advanced nanomaterials.

His research focuses on metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), functional and magnetic nanomaterials, spectroscopy, materials characterization, and structure–property relationships. His work has included MOFs for energy, electromagnetic, and biomedical applications, as well as materials developed under high-magnetic-field conditions. Through his collaboration with MATTER and NALS, Dr. Rehman contributes expertise in advanced materials synthesis and characterization and supports collaborative research, publications, and knowledge exchange in functional and porous materials.
