Shohreh Mohammadi

Shohreh is a PhD student working on the project titled “Development and Validation of an Analytical Method for Airborne Chromium Speciation and Field Comparison Study.” Her research focuses on developing and validating a robust analytical method to accurately distinguish and quantify trivalent (Cr(III)) and hexavalent (Cr(VI)) chromium species in airborne samples collected from industrial environments. The goal of her work is to improve the accuracy and reliability of chromium speciation, which is critical for assessing occupational exposure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and ultimately enhancing worker safety in industries where chromium compounds are present. Shohreh’s project also involves field studies to compare and validate the method under real-world conditions.
